What you'll study
You'll study how the human body responds to exercise and training. The course typically progresses from foundational knowledge, anatomy, exercise physiology and sport psychology, through applied skills in biomechanics, athlete testing and research methods, to specialist options and independent research in your final year. You'll usually explore areas such as strength and conditioning, nutrition, sport psychology, rehabilitation, coaching, or PE teaching routes. Practical sessions run alongside theory, with hands-on coaching and lab work embedded throughout.
