This MEng degree in Robotics Engineering equips you to design and analyse automated systems across industries. You'll usually begin with core engineering foundations: mathematics, mechanics and materials science, and CAD alongside practical workshop skills. In the second year, you'll study discipline-specific topics such as thermodynamics and fluids or circuits and systems, supported by engineering analysis, computing and simulation. You'll also undertake a team design project to real specifications. By year 3, you'll select specialist options such as mechanical, electrical and electronic, civil and structural, robotics and mechatronics, energy and sustainability, or the Chartered (CEng) pathway.
