This course equips you with intellectual and technical building blocks to start your career in engineering. You'll begin with foundations: engineering mathematics (calculus, linear algebra, numerical methods), mechanics and materials science, and practical CAD and workshop skills. In Year 2, you'll deepen your knowledge through thermodynamics, fluids, circuits and systems, whilst developing engineering analysis and computing competence. A group design project, assessed like industry work, prepares you for collaborative problem-solving.
