What you'll study
This course combines visual foundation skills with interior design practice informed by live client projects and industry partnerships. You'll usually begin with visual studies and design principles, colour, composition and form, alongside materials and processes across both physical and digital media. Contextual studies ground your practice in design history and contemporary thinking. In Year 2, you'll develop sustained studio work, explore digital tools and emerging technologies relevant to interiors, and engage with live briefs and real-world collaborations. Year 3 narrows to specialist focus, such as graphic design, illustration, fine art, fashion and textiles, or UX and digital approaches, whilst you develop professional practice skills and build a portfolio. You'll conclude with a major self-directed project, culminating in a degree show.
