What you'll study
You'll study the science of human movement and athletic performance. A course like this normally moves from core knowledge in anatomy, exercise physiology and sport psychology in your first year, covering how the body adapts to training and what drives performance under pressure. You'll combine theory with practical coaching work across different sports. In year two, you'll progress to biomechanics, training physiology and research methods, learning to analyse technique, design athlete programmes and interpret data. Throughout, you'll have opportunities to specialise in areas such as strength and conditioning, nutrition, rehabilitation, sport psychology and coaching.
