What you'll study
This degree invites you to design products for real-world impact by working with genuine clients and briefs. You'll usually begin with visual foundations, colour, composition and form, alongside hands-on workshops in materials, print, textiles and digital fabrication, grounded in design history and contemporary practice. In your second year, you'll develop sustained studio projects, explore digital and emerging media, and tackle live client briefs with real deadlines. Year 3 allows you to specialise deeply in areas such as graphic design, illustration, fashion and textiles, UX and digital, or fine art, whilst building professional practice skills and a portfolio. You'll culminate in a self-directed final major project, publicly exhibited at a degree show.
