What you'll study
This course places you in a studio environment reflecting industry practice, supporting your development of a distinctive creative voice. You'll typically begin with visual foundations, colour, composition and form across media, alongside hands-on workshops in print, textiles and digital fabrication, grounded in art and design history. In your second year, you'll progress to sustained studio practice, developing a personal direction through live briefs and real-world projects, whilst exploring digital and emerging media. By your final year, you'll specialise in depth, such as graphic design, illustration, fine art, fashion and textiles, or UX and digital, culminating in a self-directed major project exhibited in a degree show. Throughout, contextual studies inform your evolving practice.
