This HNC in Mechanical Engineering develops industry-ready design, problem-solving and analytical skills through a structured two-year progression. You'll usually begin with foundational theory, engineering mathematics, mechanics and materials, and practical design skills including CAD and workshop practice. In year two, you'll progress to the discipline core, thermodynamics and fluids or circuits and systems depending on your stream, alongside engineering analysis, computing and simulation.
