This course emphasises communication and promotion within fashion and design contexts. You'll usually start with visual foundations, colour, composition and form, alongside contextual studies in design history. Year 1 and 2 progress from core studio practice and making techniques through to live briefs with real clients and deadlines. You'll build a personal direction through sustained project work and explore digital and emerging media as tools for your practice. In Year 3, you'll specialise deeply in areas such as graphic design, illustration, fine art, fashion & textiles, or UX & digital before culminating in a self-directed final major project, publicly exhibited in a degree show.
