You'll study graphic and digital design with a focus on building core visual skills before moving into specialised practice. In Year 1, you'll usually explore Visual Studies and Design Principles, colour, composition and form across media, alongside hands-on Materials, Processes and Making workshops covering print, textiles and digital fabrication. Contextual Studies grounds your work in art and design history. Year 2 shifts to sustained Studio Practice where you develop a personal direction, complemented by Digital and Emerging Media (creative software, motion, 3D or interaction) and Live Briefs with real client projects.
