This degree prepares you for registration as a Biomedical Scientist with the HCPC, underpinned by IBMS and RSB accreditation and a compulsory year-long placement at an IBMS-approved laboratory. You'll usually start with core biomedical sciences, anatomy, physiology and pathology, typically taught by body system, alongside clinical and communication skills from the outset. Early modules also cover population health and professional ethics.
