This course combines environmental science with outdoor education and practical fieldwork. You'll usually start with Earth Systems Science, Ecology Fundamentals and Environmental Data & GIS, building understanding of how the planet works and how to map and analyse environmental systems. In your second year, a course like this normally moves towards applied work: Climate Change Science & Policy, Pollution & Environmental Management, and a residential field course that applies methods to real landscapes.
