What you'll study
You'll study environmental systems, ecology and data methods in your first year, covering atmosphere, oceans and land, populations and communities, and techniques for mapping and analysing environmental data. Year 2 moves into climate change science and policy, pollution monitoring and environmental management, with residential fieldwork to apply these methods in the field. In your final year, you'll choose specialist options such as climate science, conservation, GIS and remote sensing, environmental policy, or water and pollution. You'll also undertake work-based sustainability projects with real organisations and complete an independent dissertation based on fieldwork or data analysis.
