This course combines interactive and immersive technology with visual and creative practice. You'll usually begin with visual studies and design principles, colour, composition and form across media, alongside workshops in materials, processes and traditional and digital making. Contextual studies ground your work in art and design history. By Year 2, you'll develop sustained studio practice and personal direction, explore digital and emerging media such as 3D, motion and interaction, and work on live client briefs with real deadlines. In Year 3, you'll focus deeply on a specialism such as graphic design, illustration, fine art, fashion and textiles, or UX and digital. You'll also develop professional practice skills and complete a self-directed final major project, culminating in a degree show.
