What you'll study

This course gives you a thorough grounding in the basis, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease. You'll usually begin with biomedical sciences core content, anatomy, physiology and pathology taught by body system, alongside clinical and communication skills from the start. Early modules also cover population health and ethics. As you progress, a course like this normally moves into clinical rotations in hospitals and general practice, with specialty attachments in areas such as paediatrics, psychiatry and obstetrics.
