What you'll study

On this course, you'll study environmental and sustainability issues through an agricultural and animal science lens. You'll usually begin with foundations in animal and crop science, agri-food systems, and practical farm skills. In your second year, you'll progress to nutrition and health, grassland and environment management, and data and technology in agriculture. By year three, you'll choose specialisations such as livestock production, equine science, agronomy, animal behaviour and welfare, or agri-tech. You'll also study farm business management and complete a dissertation or industry project, often in partnership with a farm or industry organisation. Throughout, the course integrates environmental and sustainability principles with applied agricultural practice.
