To provide students with experience of work including familiarisation with the professional work environment. This is a non-credit bearing optional one-year placement. Students will be counselled prior to undertaking the placement to ensure that they understand their responsibilities and also understand their commitments. Getting an opportunity to gain work experience can be invaluable to students and can also result in long term permanent employment if the placement is truly successful.
