What makes us special?
Students are taught by industry-experienced academics using facilities and equipment that replicate the professional workplace. Courses are grounded in current working practices and provide ample opportunities to apply learning to real-world situations, from live projects and authentic case studies to first-hand practice in the university’s on-campus simulated environments.

Many courses also include professional accreditation, work experience and placements. Plus, we leverage our extensive links with local businesses and social enterprises to organise field trips, masterclasses and hands-on industry experience.

Many of our degrees also offer a Professional Practice Year, where you can undertake a year in industry. This will help you develop your knowledge and experience, build a network and gain a valuable insight into your chosen industry.
At Bedfordshire, we understand that student life is more than just a degree; it's about developing into a well-rounded professional ready for today’s world of work. That’s why we provide an excellent selection of extracurricular activities to boost skills and employability, from masterclasses, industry visits and work experience to clubs, societies and volunteering opportunities.
Our students are spread across three modern campuses in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, each offering easy access to culture-rich towns and idyllic countryside while just a short train journey away from London.
