What do we do?

Wimbledon’s undergraduate courses are divided between Acting and Performance and Performance Design and Technologies disciplines. Our courses are Acting and Performance, Costume for Theatre and Screen, Art Direction and Visual Effects, Technical Arts for Theatre and Screen, and Theatre and Performance Design.

Wimbledon is an environment in which actors, writers, directors and performance makers work alongside and in conjunction with each other.

What makes us special?

Wimbledon has particularly strong industry links and renowned alumni.

Wimbledon students can engage in work experience and participate in a range of live projects. Recently these have included working with Madame Tussauds, the Royal Opera House, the Herds, Museum Lates at the National Gallery, V&A Performance festival and National Trust Polesden Lacey project.

Graduates from Wimbledon go on to work in films, TV, gaming, theatre and large-scale live events. They include recent graduate theatre company Psychonaut Theatre; award-winning costume designer Lorna Marie Mugan (Normal People and Peaky Blinders); Evening Standard and Tony award winning theatre designer Soutra Gilmour; and Oscar-nominated production designer Sarah Greenwood (Barbie, Cyrano, The Darkest Hour and Beauty and the Beast).
