Despite dropping out of Harvard, Bill Gates has gone on to be one of the richest billionaires and most influential men in the world. He co-founded Microsoft with his childhood friend and is known for his time with Microsoft, and his contribution towards world development and health. His success has mostly been tied to these factors, but many believe his leadership style has also been instrumental in making him the success he is today. Let's now examine Bill Gates' leadership style, its principles and qualities. We will also discuss his leadership traits that have contributed to his success.

Who is Bill Gates?

William Henry Gates III, popularly known as Bill Gates, is an American technologist, business leader and philanthropist. He was born on 28th October 1955 in Seattle, Washington. He co-founded and lead Microsoft, the world's largest personal-computer software company, with his childhood friend Paul Allen. He and Melinda Gates also started the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a philanthropic organization looking to fight poverty, diseases and inequality around the world.

He is currently worth $ 137.5B according to Forbes and was ranked the richest in technology in 2017.

Bill Gates is often seen as an innovative visionary and a man with impeccable entrepreneur skills who made billions by anticipating market needs and adapting existing technology to solve specific market needs. But many would argue that his leadership style was also influential in making him the success he is today.
